Welcome aboard. I’m Ted Fuller, a retired U.S. Coast Guard Master Chief, a follower of Jesus, and a man in recovery who’s learning what it means to live anchored in truth, one day at a time.
For more than thirty years, I served at sea, where storms were expected, commands were clear, and the mission was constant. But when I retired, the hardest storm I ever faced began, the one inside me.
Transition left me adrift. My sense of purpose, my identity, even my hope, they all took on water. I tried to navigate through it alone, but in 2019, Jesus Christ met me in the middle of that storm and threw me a lifeline of grace.
That moment changed everything.
Today, Anchored in Truth exists as an outpost for anyone navigating their own rough waters, whether you’re a veteran adjusting to civilian life, someone in recovery, or a believer searching for direction and peace.
This is a place for:

⚓️ Recovery — real stories and reflections for those walking out of addiction and into grace.
⚓️ Purpose — encouragement for veterans, families, and anyone rediscovering their “why.”
You don’t have to be perfect to belong here, you just have to be honest about the waves you’re facing.
Together, we’ll find strength in Scripture, courage in community, and Hope in the Captain who is always in Command.
